Uncharted Waters

Today, I launch my website and take these wishy washy ideas of who I could be and what I could do... and they become an actual thing outside of my head. They become... what ever they will be. Honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing. I don't even know if I will be good at vlogging or what ever it is I am doing... but I want to try. That's the only way I will know if this is my thing or not.

But I guess I'm getting ahead of myself... I guess I should start off by introducing myself.

Hello, my name (for the general public) is Layney Lethal. I got this name while searching for an alter ego roller derby name back in 2014 and it just stuck. Most of my friends call me Lethal anymore, so... there you have it.

I am an aspiring writer, musician, artist, entrepreneur, and I guess vlogger/Youtuber now. I'm not sure what all content I am going to put out to you all. I'll probably write some blogs, maybe write or play some music, do some crafting, share some how to videos, maybe product testing... I don't know, but hopefully they're kinda funny and not super lame. We won't know until I start throwing out content. I know no matter what I do, there are going to be people out there that aren't going to like me or what I put out, but some that do. That's just how it goes when you put yourself out there in any sort of situation. This is for those people out there that pick up, what I put down. That get me. You have to surround yourself with those people and appreciate them. Ignore the rest. And there you have it... I'm already dishing out life lessons.

I'm also a full time single mother of two awesome little girls. I have raised them both on my own since they were 2 and 6 months old. To date they are 11 and 9, so I've been going it on my own for some time now. I work full time to support us (this is just a for fun/on the side project). I am, basically, an all around bad ass. lol We're not where I want us to be, but I'm trying really hard to cut myself a break and remember we're a long way from where we were... I just need to dig deeper to keep us moving forward. We will get there, I'll make sure of it.

There are different phases I plan to take with this project. We are at phase 1, currently.

Phase 1: Put out content, post videos, gain followers, test the waters, see if I have what it takes, work out the kinks.

Phase 2: Work on bigger projects, sell items I make or flip, sell merch, reach out to different companies, product test, launch some other side projects/businesses, fine tune my craft.

Phase 3: Bigger projects, solidify businesses, etc.

I don't want to go into detail or get ahead of myself yet with Phase 3. I have big plans though. Ambitious plans. I never do anything simple. I have a go BIG or go HOME personality type. I hold myself to a higher standard and if I fall short, I am very hard on myself. I'm determined to make this dream a reality.

There are (hopefully) big things to come from here. I hope I can bring some positive energy into your life. That is the goal. Spread joy, inspire, and push myself to go after the things in life I want. I have no idea where this project is going to take me, but I hope you'll be with me through the journey.
